Japanese automaker Daihatsu has launched its women-specific Mira Cocoa 'mini passenger vehicle' in its domestic market

Daihatsu says the Mira Cocoa is easy to use, safe with plenty of airbags and ABS brakes, roomy, and fuel efficient. It aims to attract mainly female drivers with its cute design amid growing popularity for fuel-efficient small cars.

The car, equipped with a 660cc engine, is eligible for the recent Japanese government tax breaks and subsidies for fuel-efficient cars. Power is routed through either a four-speed automatic or CVT gearbox, and can be sent to all four wheels, or just two.

The Mira Cocoa, comes in nine colour variations, with one to suit every woman!
