Tapper takes early exit in Rally of Indonesia

Auckland's Mark Tapper had a tough day at the office in the opening leg of the Rally of Indonesia - damaging the radiator in the Ford Fiesta Sporting Trophy car.

Landing awkwardly after a jump in the second stage for the day, the 2WD car that had been so dominant at its previous APRC outing in Rotorua, was sidelined when it landed nose first - damaging the radiator.

While the team is running short on spares a decision as to whether it will be able to start Sunday's second leg of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship event has yet to be determined.
