Brendon tops in Formula Renault


Facing four days of official testing for the 2007 Formula Eurocup 2.0, Palmerston North teen Brendon Hartley has topped the sheets after dominating both the morning and afternoon sessions

With three days remaining, Brendon says he is pleased with the result - although focused on the remaining three days.

"There's still three days to go and I want to get home," said Brendon after announcing his results at the end of the day.

Finishing on the 22nd of December, the now 17-year-old flies directly home to return in the early evening of Christmas Day New Zealand time.

Of the thirty drivers running at the Spanish circuit was 2006 season champion Filipe Albuquerque.
