Kia Motors has confirmed that the diesel/hybrid powertrain concept shown at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show will form the basis of a production model to join the Sorento range in 2012.
Kia says it sees diesel/hybrids as the more sensible path for it to follow in the future, rather than petrol/hybrids, because it promises to deliver even better fuel economy, reduced emissions and improved drivability.
