Your chance to own a rare fully restored Alfa. Voted by "NZ Classic Car" as "Best Everyday Classic of the 20th Century" in its 2000 yearbook. Car has been stripped and all rust found removed. The car has only travelled 37500k’s in just on 30 years. All the engine required was a VERY good clean, new frost plugs, new clutch along with a brand new radiator. I have fitted a new genuine LH rear view mirror. Of course all the belts, hoses and filters, brake pads and seals have been done incl. the cambelts. All the shocks have been replaced and the car handles very well. It may only pump out 95HP but with two twin throat Webers and weighing only 850kG is quite nippy and also makes a great sound. It has the original seat coverings and carpet all in excellent condition. The original mag wheels (5 incl spare) have been polished and fitted with new 185x60x13’s. The rear window heater works as does the clock (very rare). I have fitted sound deadening in the doors and panels and boot and fitted new carpet underlay. Also to make life easier, central locking, a “Cat 5” immobiliser and an automatic aerial for the stereo. Unlike any other Sud you might be lucky enough to see, no holes have been cut in the rear parcel shelf. The car rolled off the production line on Feb 24th 1982 so has just turned 30. If you want a classic car where all the hard work has been done, this is the car for you. Of course any owner will find something they want to work on.
