Audi Q3 revealed

The new Audi Q3 features coupe-like styling, distinctive lights and a flat-set rear window, which Audi says emphasize its sporty identity.

The Q3 will weigh less than 1500kg, thanks to aluminium components in the engine hood and tailgaite.

In terms of size, the Q3 measures 4.39m long, 1.83m wide, and 1.60m tall.

This compact premium SUV will roll off the assembly line in Europe with three different four-cylinder engines: one TDI and two TFSI units. All three will combine direct injection with turbocharging, and will feature an energy recovery system and a start-stop system.

Power outputs range from 103kW (140hp) to 155kW (211hp). The entry-level Q3 2.0 TDI will be join the line-up at a later date.

Audi says the crossover will have an average fuel consumption of less than 5.2 L/100km.

Inside, customers can choose from a range of options, including leather upholstery, heated seats, aluminium trim, ambient lighting, and a panoramic glass roof.
