A 10.2-metre-long Audi TT has gone on display in Ingolstadt, ahead of Audi's 100th anniversary
The Audi TT sculpture, which was first unveiled in 2006 and which has since been displayed in Berlin, Beijing, Hong Kong and Munich, is 10.2 metres long, 4.5 metres wide and 3.25 metres high and weighs about 10 tonnes.
The construction’s components include glass-fiber laminate and Neopor foam, and features 150 square meters of painted surface.
It has been placed on the Audi roundabout in Ingolstadt, and was formally presented to the town's mayor, Dr Alfred Lehmann.
Audi has organised more than 50 events to be held across the globe. On July 16 2009, exactly 100 years after the company was established, Audi says that a brand new model will be revealed, with recent rumours suggesting it will be a special edition Audi A5. We'll keep you posted...
