Renault has decided to manufacture the electric version of Fluence at its plant in Turkey, with production to start in the first half of 2011
Following last week's green light for the Twizy Z.E and Zoe Z.E, Renault has added the Fluence to its line-up of electric vehicles going into production.
Unveiled as the Fluence Z.E. Concept in Frankfurt in September, the electric vehicle will be produced on the same production line as the fuel-powered versions of Fluence.
Fluence is a midsize three-volume sedan with three battery charge options: standard charge, rapid charge, and 'QuickDrop' battery exchange.
Renault says it will launch the Fluence EV first in Israel and Denmark, followed by other countries, from the first half of 2011.
