Optional extras include bi-xenon headlights with dynamic cornering lights, panorama sliding glass roof and a mirror package to fold away wing mirrors.
New high-tech driver assistance systems include touch-of-a-button parallel parking (drivers control braking and acceleration) called 'ParkPilot', which alerts the driver to distance from obstacles both front and rear; 'Rest assist' fatigue detection identifies waning driver concentration and alerts the driver; and 'Lane assist' lane departure warning system is also available.

Reaching a top speed of 182km/ h the 4Motion permanent all-wheel drive Tiguan has fuel consumption of 7.5 l/100km combined.
17” Boston alloy wheels give the Tiguan a sporty look.
