The passenger derivative of the T5 model range is the seven-seat Multivan, a luxury people mover.
Standard spec (340Nm DSG model) includes seven seats (rear seats on fully adjustable rail system), dual front airbags, alarm, ESP, alloys, air con, park aid and privacy glass.
Grant Doull, Manager of Commercial vehicles for Volkswagen New Zealand is very pleased with the launch offering for the new T5 model range.
“To be able to offer the market an extremely well spec’d entry level model Transporter with ultra competitive pricing is a real coup for us.
“We are confident the market will appreciate both our entry level offering as well as the extended range of vans we can supply for those who require a transport solution that may be a little outside of the norm (ie. DSG transmission, SWB/LWB and mid roof/high roof options, customised factory fit requirements, 4Motion all wheel drive, etc).”
