The new V6 Honda Accord features style changes and improved fuel economy
The new 2011 Honda V6 Accord features fresh styling to the front bumper, grille, headlights and detailing on the boot lid and rear lights, as well as a new look to the wheels. It now also includes high-end features as standard issue for all vehicles in the range.
An improved ADR fuel economy figure of 9.9L/100km, parking sensors, USB audio integration for iPod or memory sticks and an easy to use jack-knife key are just some of the new enhancements to the Honda V6 Accord.
The V6 Accord’s i-VTEC 3.5 litre, 24 valve, high torque V6 engine delivers power and torque figures of 202kW @ 6200rpm and 340Nm @ 5000rpm respectively.
Its VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) technology actively monitors throttle position, vehicle speed, engine speed, automatic transmission gear selection and other factors to determine whether three, four or six cylinders are needed to meet driver demand.
Honda says whether you want maximum power and start up acceleration (six cylinders), or you’re seeking moderate acceleration for mild hills (four cylinders), or you want a moderate cruising speed (three cylinders), the 2011 Honda V6 Accord is an intelligent automotive system that will "meet if not exceed your driving expectations".
The range includes seven V6 Honda Accord model variants, including Sport and Mugen options. Get to your nearest Honda dealer to test drive one today.
