Nissan’s new 370Z sports coupe will arrive here in the middle of next year
The 370Z, which replaces the successful 350Z, has restyled bodywork that takes design cues from the original Datsun 240Z sports car.
Though it’s still a two-seater, the interior has been redesigned for greater practicality and uses higher quality materials.
Some flimsy cabin items and a built-to-a-price look about the cabin in general were among the few criticisms aimed at the 350Z.
The new car runs a 3.7-litre V6 and is said to be quicker and more agile than its predecessor. Nissan NZ won’t speculate on the likely price but you can bet it will be as competitive as the 350Z’s was.
A soft-top version is expected on 2010.
