The all new Lexus IS250C will be available in New Zealand in early July
Based on the IS Line, the new 2 + 2 seater luxury convertible has a power-operated retractable hardtop roof, a 2.5-litre V6 engine and a range of luxury and safety features.
The retractable roof folds down to a classic convertible look in just 20 seconds - the three phase folding mechanism powered by computer-controlled electric motors.
Safety measures in the new IS250C sees additional strength added to the body, large side airbags incorporated into seatbacks to protect the occupants head and abdomen, special padding in the doors, as well as driver and passenger front and knee airbags.
The Lexus IS250C is also equipped with Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) that coordinates the Vehicle Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking and Traction Control systems.
Lexus says the IS250C is economical on fuel, with a combined fuel consumption figure of 9.3 litres per 100 kilometres, and CO2 emissions of 219 grams per kilometre, measured to ADR 81/02 testing criteria.
It will be available in two different models from early July.
