Knight Ride with KITT

Mio has released its Knight Rider GPS

Tired of that boring GPS voice?

Step back into the '80s with the crime-fighting duo of Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff) and KITT (William Daniels) with the Knight Rider GPS.

Based on the orginal console of the KITT car, the Knight Rider GPS features a 4.3-inch screen and directions reportedly voiced by the original KITT, William Daniels.

When powering up the device, lights scan across the screen as they did on the grill of KITT, and as Daniels speaks, red LED lights blink just like the real deal.

The Knight Rider GPS can be customised to speak your name from a list of 300 popular names, so Daniels will greet you with phrases such as "XXX, where would you like to go today?" or "XXX, I'm really looking forward to this."

This model is only available in the US at present.
