Car of the Decade partners with New Zealand Artist of the Millennium

Jaguar collaborates with artist John Reynolds to reveal the Car of the Decade.

Jaguar NZ started a partnership with the Arts Foundation of New Zealand in April 2011. To celebrate this partnership Jaguar New Zealand has teamed with iconic New Zealand visual artist John Reynolds in collaboration to reveal the Car of the Decade, the Jaguar XF.

John Reynolds created his largest canvas to date for this project. The artwork was used to unveil the Jaguar XF at a star studded VIP launch in Auckland on Thursday night. The stunning piece of work combined with the reveal of the new Jaguar XF was a show-stealer.

"We were proud to team with John Reynolds on this exciting project which has been a great success for us," said Jaguar New Zealand Brand Manager Paul Ricketts.

This campaign has been a huge success for Jaguar starting with direct mail to clients in November with the offer to test drive a Jaguar and get a one off piece of canvas from John Reynolds. The stunning piece of art is being cut up and sent to everyone who test drove the Jaguar.

$1000 dollars from every sale of a new Jaguar to an Art Foundation of New Zealand patron goes to the Arts Foundation.

The detailed survey encompassed many aspects of vehicle ownership - from reliability to dealer performance, to design, handling and ease of use. In that time over 300,000 readers participated with hundreds of individual cars being tested. The Jaguar XF emerged as Number One.
