The BMW Concept Gran Coupe is the latest design study for the brand, and has been on display at the Beijin Auto Show
BMW says the Gran Coupe is a 4-door vehicle that "combines the exclusivity of a Gran Turismo with the fascination of a high-performance sports car".
It's 1.4 meters high, so 10cm less than the 5 and 7 series sedan, and 5 metres long.
Features of the design include a wide kidney-chaped grille, rounded headlights, split bumper with large air intakes, wide LED brake light above the rear glass, quad tailpipes and vaulted bonnet.
Rumours are swirling that the car is already approved for production and will be marketed as the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, so stay tuned...
