Stunning victory for Massa in Turkey

Upstaging his Ferrari team-mate, 25-year old Felipe Massa won his first F1 event by winning the Turkish Grand Prix.

Leading from start to finish Massa took a comfortable 5s victory over duelling pair Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher.

Even though Schumacher started alongside his junior team-mate, he was relegated early in the race - working his way back to pressure Alonso for position to try and reduce the championship points difference.

Massa was able to drive his own race while Alonso fought tyre wear to keep Schumacher at bay - the German making a last ditch run for the line to finish 0.1s behind the current champion.

Fourth was Jenson Button in the Honda while McLaren's Pedro de la Rosa gained from pitting once to move from 11th to fifth.
