Radisich fights back from double drop-kicks

Team Kiwi Racing driver has a tough time in the first race at Winton.

May 20, 2007, 2pm. Two on-track incidents and a pitstop problem thwarted Paul Radisich’s bid for a top-10 finish in yesterday’s opening Australian V8 Supercar race at Winton, Australia.

Radisich qualified the Team Kiwi Racing a disappointing 21st, but twice pushed up close to the top-10 in the opening race.

He was taken out on both times and that, coupled with a problem with a tyre change, meant he finished 24th.

Tasman Motorsport driver Jason Richards finished 23rd, and teammate Greg Murphy failed to finish.
