Mercedes GP has unveiled the bright silver livery it will use on its cars for the 2010 world championship
The new Mercedes GP Petronas team drivers Nico Rosberg and seven-time Formula 1 champ Michael Schumacher joined team executives Ross Brawn, Nick Fry, and Norbert Haug at the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart for the unveiling.
The 2009 Brawn car was used for the livery launch, with the proper race car, called the MGP W01, to be unveiled and tested next Monday in Spain.
"On the nose and other parts of the car, traces of black carbon fibre are visible," said Mercedes. This harks back to when the white paint was sanded off the 1934 car to reduce weight.
