Kiwi driver Brendon Hartley has been axed from Red Bull's junior team

Brendon Hartley has been axed from Red Bull's junior team which competes in the Renault World Series.

Hartley had been a reserve driver for Red Bull, test driving for Formula One.

He has struggled on the track this season, sitting in sixth place, having failed to win a race.

Hartley says he is now looking for another team, reports Newstalk ZB.
