Ford Falcons set the pace at the opening practice session for the NZV8 championship which starts at Pukekohe this weekend.
Falcons filled the first six places with Angus Fogg lapping just outside his own lap record. His 61.4 seconds lap was half a second quicker that John McIntyre who was having his first outing in his self-developed Ford.
Next came Dean Perkins, Cameron McLean, Paul Pedersen, and Australian Luke Youlden. Paul Manuell was the fastest of the Holden Commodore drivers, 1.3 seconds off Fogg‘s time. Defending champion Kayne Scott was 11th fastest.
