Angus Fogg continued his domination of practice sessions for this weekend’s opening round of the NZV8 series
Continuing a trend that has been shown in other racing classes today, Fogg went quicker than he had in this morning’s session. His fastest time this afternoon was 61.40 seconds which is 1/10 of a second off his lap record. Dean Perkins was second fastest this afternoon, just 1/10 second behind Fogg. Then came John McIntyre and Luke Youlden. Reigning champion Kayne Scott got his Commodore in among the Fords and was the fastest Holden driver with fifth quickest time for the session. He was 3/10 of a second behind Fogg. Australian David Besnard, who missed this morning’s practice session, was sixth fastest.
In the first outing for the new Mini Class, Anthony Pedersen was fastest in two of the three sessions. The rookie is the son of NZV8 ace Paul Pedersen.
