Dubai 24-hours keen to attract Kiwis
Creventic, organiser of the annual Toyo Tires 24 Hour Race in Dubai, is keen to attract entries from New Zealand teams for next January’s event.
The company has taken note of the New Zealand interest in the Nurburgring 24 hour race, and is keen to make contact with New Zealand crews/drivers interested in competing in Dubai or the four race series, which comprises three 24-hour races and a 12-hour race.
This year’s series takes in rounds Dubai, Lausitz in August, Hungaroring in September and Valencia in October. The opening round of next year’s series is a Dubai on January 9 and 10.
The series caters for Touring and GT cars with a maximum capacity of 4000cc and six cylinders. There is one class is for silhouette cars and another new class based on power to weight ratio.
The series attracts drivers and team from throughout the world.
