The regular Australian-based drivers will join with 18 international stars on the streets of Surfers Paradise this weekend
The Godl Coast 600 V8 Supercar event will see not only successful V8 drivers, but also IndyCar, Formula One and European Touring car champions.
Among the drivers are Australian IndyCar drivers Ryan Briscoe and Will Power, two-time Indy500 champion Dario Franchitti and Scott Dixon, three-time world touring car champion Andy Priaulx and former Formula One world champion Jacques Villeneuve.
New Zealand driver John McIntyre will partner fellow Kiwi Shane van Gisbergen in the Stone Brothers Racing Ford.
Each team must include an international co-driver in one of their cars for this third endurance race of the Australian V8 Supercar season.
Saturday sees the lead drivers head straight into qualifying, before the top 10 shootout decides the final starting positions for the afternoon's 300km race. Sunday's schedule follows a similar structure.
Each co-driver is required to complete 30 percent of each of the two races.
"It's the best touring car field that's ever been assembled probably anywhere since the '60s and the likes of Jim Clark driving Lotus Cortinas and things," TeamVodafone owner Roland Dane told AAP.
"It's an unbelievably good line-up and of course there's a lot of people in the industry around the world, particularly in the US and Europe, watching and seeing what we're up to.
"I'm looking forward to it and seeing how it shapes out, where some of these guys end up in the pecking order."
