Subaru Australia and Esanda join forces

Subaru and Esanda form joint finance company for Australian market.

Subaru Australia is joining with ANZ bank subsidiary Esanda to create Subaru Finance which will provide retail and wholesale finance to Subaru’s 108 Australian dealers.

Esanda has been an automotive financier for more than 50 years and is one of Australia’s largest providers of retail finance through car dealerships.

The new three-year agreement replaces Subaru’s agreement with GMAC which ends on April 16, 2009. GMAC is withdrawing from automotive finance in Australia.

Esanda spokesman, David Hannah, says Esanda and Subaru fit well together. “After the withdrawal of GMAC, it’s pleasing that Esanda can work quickly to create a strong partnership which will benefit Subaru dealers and customers.”
