Rebranding of the Scandinavian Volvo dealership is providing improved customer service to downtown Auckland Jaguar and Land Rover owners – as well as bringing back a historic name to the central city.
Now the city branch of Archibald and Shorter, the dealership has added servicing for the two British brands.
Shorters was for decades located on Shortland St, where it was a noted Citroen and Jaguar dealer, and an original Land Rover dealer. The company eventually moved to Greenlane and merged with Archiblads, the long-time Christchurch dealer.
Meanwhile, distributorship of Citroen is moving to Ateco Automotive NZ, the importer of Fiat and Alfa Romeo, owned by Australia-based Neville Creichton.
