‘Save Chrysler’ plan next month

DaimlerChrysler will announce in February how it will get its Chrysler division out of trouble.

Chrysler has forecast a 2006 loss of $US1.3 billion, blamed on the marketplace turning away from their high profit SUVs and minivans (Grand Caravan pictured).
Chrysler's sales dropped by seven per cent last year, while the US market for cars and light trucks dipped only two per cent.
