Italian carmaker Fiat has built its one millionth Grande Punto

Fiat’s Melfi factory built the right-hand drive car, a Passionate Red Sporting version with a 120-horsepower 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine.

Fiat launched the Grande Punto in 2005 and for 2008 added new features aimed at younger drivers.

Punto engine choices include 1.4-litre 8v and 16v petrol, and 1.3-litre and 1.9 MultiJet diesels.
