June 25, 2007, 10am.There aren't many products that beat the Ford Mustang for powerful brand image say the marketers of Estee Lauder's Aramis fragrance.
They’ve introduced a Mustang fragrance for men and it’s selling, well, like stink.
"In its first week of sales at Sears' stores throughout the USA, it was the top fragrance," a spokesman gushed.
What does Mustang smell like?
“Bright and musky with lavender, ginger, and lemon and undertones of pipe tobacco and cedarwood."
Not even a whiff of burning rubber.
Economy label input closes in a month
June 25, 2007, 10am. Industry input on the proposed fuel economy labelling scheme closes on August 3, and the plan is to have it in place by the end of the year.
The aim is to provide consumers with comparative fuel consumption information at the point of sale and to influence buying decisions in favour of efficient vehicles
The label, on both new cars and used-imports, will be based on a star system.
