It’s a poor man’s Viper, old chap

April 18, 2007, 5pm. So what do you do for all the folk who’d like a Viper but can’t afford one?

Maybe something like the Dodge Demon concept, being described as a “mini Viper.”

It’s meant to suggest the traditional British sports cars of the 1960s, but with modern touches like the narrow headlights.

It uses a 2.4-litre version of engine also seen in the Dodge Caliber RT.

With the Demon weighing 1179kg, the 128kW power output and 224Nm of torque deliver performance, “vastly superior to most sports cars of the 1960s,” boasts Dodge.
