March 20, 2007, 7am. The latest Dealer of the Year recipients – for Lexus and Peugeot – are both repeat winners.
For the third successive year Lexus of Wellington has won the Lexus Dealer of the Year award.
The company achieved a 35 percent sales increase over 2005, and its customer satisfaction index rating was the highest in New Zealand.
Chief executive Hunter Mitchell (pictured left) says 2007 promises to be an even bigger year.
Tauranga Peugeot was for the second year running named the best Peugeot dealer in the country.
It also won the Provincial Dealer and Parts and Service Dealer of the Year Awards. Dealer principal John Hayes (pictured right) says focus and consistency are behind his family-owned company’s success.
Meanwhile, a company that has won its share of accolades over the years, Bill Tapper European of Albany, Auckland, has been sold to the Winger Group.
